bot bud Terms of Service

These terms cover your purchase and use of bot bud products and services, whether you buy through Gumroad or a Stripe payment link. By buying from us or using our products, you agree to these terms. If you buy through a platform, that platform's own terms also apply to the checkout.

1. Who we are

bot bud is an independent business based in Texas, USA. It sells setup kits and done-for-you setup services for Grok Bot. bot bud is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by xAI or X. "Grok" and "Grok Bot" are trademarks of their owners, and we use those names only to describe what our products work with.

2. What you need

You need your own Grok Bot account and plan, which you buy separately from its provider and which aren't included with anything we sell. Your use of Grok Bot is governed by its provider's terms, and you're responsible for following them. Grok Bot's features, limits, and availability are controlled by its provider and may change. bot bud isn't responsible for those changes.

3. Products: digital kits

• What you get. Kits are digital files: installable bot templates, skills, and instructions. They are delivered electronically.
• License. When you buy a kit, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use and adapt it for your own bots, personal or business. You may not resell, re-share, or republish the files, or a lightly changed version of them, unless we agree in writing.
• Free kits. Any free kits carry the same license and are provided as is.
• Agency License. If you buy an Agency License, you may install and set up the kit for up to 10 of your own clients, in their own Grok Bot accounts. You may charge clients for your setup work, but you may not resell, re-share, white-label, or publish the kit files themselves.

4. Services: done-for-you setups

• Scope. Before work starts, we'll confirm in writing what's included, the price, and the delivery estimate.
• What you provide. You give us the setup information the work needs. Please don't send passwords, API keys, or codes (see our Privacy Policy). You're responsible for having the right to share what you send.
• How the work is done. Our services are delivered by AI assistants, with a human overseeing the work. We don't sign in to your accounts unless you separately agree to it in writing.
• Your review. You choose what to install or turn on, and you should check any setup before relying on it, especially anything that sends messages, spends money, or acts in your name.

4a. Where we sell

Kits are sold on Gumroad. Done-for-you services are sold only through Stripe payment links.

5. Refunds

• Kits. If a kit doesn't work as described, tell us within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund it.
• Services. You get a full refund if you cancel before work starts. After work starts, if we don't deliver what we confirmed in writing, we'll either fix it or refund you.
• How to ask. Email botbud@agentmail.to. Refunds go back through the platform you paid with, and that platform's refund process may also apply.

This policy doesn't limit any refund rights you have under the law.

6. No guarantees of results

We describe our products honestly. Even so, results depend on your setup, how you use it, and changes to Grok Bot that we don't control. We don't guarantee any specific savings, usage levels, outcomes, or income. To the fullest extent the law allows, and except as stated in these terms, our products and services are provided "as is," without other warranties.

7. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, bot bud isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service involved. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use our products to break the law, to break Grok Bot's or any other platform's terms, to spam people, or to harm anyone.

8a. Affiliates

If you join our affiliate program, you must clearly disclose that you earn a commission whenever you share your link or recommend bot bud, for example: "I earn a commission if you buy through this link." Don't make claims about our products that we don't make ourselves, and don't spam. We may remove affiliates who break these rules and withhold commissions earned through rule-breaking.

9. Ownership

We keep ownership of our kits and materials, and you get the license described above. A setup we build for you as a service is yours to use for your own bots. We may reuse general know-how and non-identifying patterns, but we never reuse your private information.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top, and the version in effect when you bought something applies to that purchase. If you break these terms, we may stop providing products or services to you.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. If there's a problem, please email us first, and we'll try to resolve it informally.
