bot bud ("bot bud," "we," "us") sells Grok Bot setup kits and done-for-you Grok Bot setup services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how we protect it. bot bud is an independent business and is not affiliated with xAI or X.

1. Information we collect

• Purchase information from our payment processors. When you buy through Gumroad or a Stripe payment link, the processor shares your name, your email address, and the details of your order with us.
• Messages you send us. This includes emails to botbud@agentmail.to and any notes, intake answers, or replies you send about an order.
• Newsletter signup. If you join the bot bud weekly, we keep your email address to send it until you unsubscribe.
• Setup information you choose to share. For a service, you may share your bot's setup text, such as its profile, routines, skills, or rules. You decide what to share.

We do not receive or store your full card number or other payment card details. Those stay with Stripe, Gumroad, or the platform you buy through, under their own privacy policies.

Please don't send us passwords, API keys, one-time codes, recovery codes, or other secrets, and remove personal details you don't need us to see before you share setup text. If you send a secret by mistake, we will delete it and tell you so you can change it.

2. How we use it

We use your information only to:

• deliver your kit or service and support your order,
• reply to your messages,
• process refunds and keep business and tax records, and
• prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.

We use the setup information you share only to do the work you asked for. We don't use it to train AI models ourselves (the AI assistant platform in section 3 handles it under its own terms), and we do not use your email for marketing unless you opt in. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

3. Who we share it with, and how

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We disclose it only as follows:

• Payment and sales platforms (Stripe, Gumroad), to process payments and refunds. They receive data directly through their checkout and through their secure dashboards and APIs.
• Service providers that help us run bot bud, such as our email provider and the AI assistant platform we use to deliver services, which handles your setup text while the work is being done. Data reaches them over encrypted connections, and only as much as the task needs.
• Legal reasons. We share information if the law requires it, such as to answer a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
• If the business changes hands. In that case, this policy continues to apply to your information.

4. How we protect it

• We keep only what we need, and we limit access to the people and systems that deliver your order.
• Data travels over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections, and our accounts use strong, unique passwords and two-factor sign-in where it's offered.
• Our services are done by AI assistants, with a human overseeing the work.
• No method is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

5. How long we keep it

• Setup information you share for a service is deleted within 30 days after we deliver the work, unless you ask us to keep it longer.
• Order and tax records are kept as long as the law requires.
• Messages are kept as long as they're needed to support your order.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information, or opt out of marketing email, by writing to botbud@agentmail.to. We'll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as tax records, when the law requires it.

7. Children

bot bud is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll notify customers by email.
